It was wonderful to meet a beautiful new edition to a beautiful family. Thank you. Bye for now Nina It was a absolute joy to photograph this little man, in natural light.
The chair this little one is on has been in the family for generations. I just fell in love with it straight away.
Thanks for looking Nina Last week I had the opportunity to go back to one of my favourite locations to do a portfolio building session. We had fun playing dress ups and finding the best trees to climb. Just a couple from the afternoon.
We also took the opportunity to do some photos of some wonderful clothing for Fishkids. Fishkids provides quality kids fishing and outdoor products. My son Sean never leaves home with out his Fishkids shirt, he has his own well ventilated light shirt just like dads and I know he is protected from the harsh sun. In the next couple of days I will update the blog with the photos in the mean time they can be found on the link or become a fan on their Facebook Page. Yesterday provided me with the opportunity to unwrap my new backdrop papers for the studio. Hopefully it will be completed by the end of March.
Thanks for looking. Bye for now. Nina Darwin parks and beaches are wonderful locations for photographer. The opportunity to photograph this little cutie at a park then the beach makes this photographer very happy. Using natural light in the early morning and the late afternoon.
and one of my favourite photos for the week.
Become a fan of ninakphotography on facebook and there is the opportunity to receive a free photography session with me on location. Thank you for looking Nina My new lens Canon 85mm 1.8 arrived on Friday and with a few test shots fired I was swoon in love. A quick call to my neighbour to borrow her daughters for some test shots. A big thankyou girls.
Thanks for looking Nina It seems fitting to launch the new blog look with photos of this lovely family. The lovely girls below were my first practice models. They have come back to Darwin for a quick holiday so we went down to the beach for the photos.
Bye for now. Nina Why not sure… I decided the blog needed a fresh new look. It has been two days now and I am still having problems with viewing the website correctly in IE Browser. It looks all aligned in firefox please keep this in mind and if you can view the blog in firefox. I am currently working on this and hoping with the new Atahualpa theme frame release in the next couple of days I will have my issues sorted. Thankyou so much for visiting and hopefully I will be able to launch the new site in the New Year. Bye for now Nina This little one was a absolute dream to work with. A pure joy to photograph the whole family.
Bye for now Nina Perishability in a photograph is important in a picture. If a photograph looks perishable we say, “Gee, I’m glad I have that moment.” ~John Loengard, “Pictures Under Discussion” “Gee I have that moment” is one of the most important aspects that I aspire to in my photography. This is the case for the photos below. This little one is now sitting up and we wanted capture that moment in time. His older sister also wanted to join in on the photos, who am I to say no.
and finally, Oh Dear. Nina K Photography is now on Facebook if you would like to become a fan. Bye for now Nina I have the pleasure of announcing that I have started working with Twinkle Toes Baby Hand and Feet sculptures in Darwin, as their photographer. The exclusive package for Twinkle Toes referrals. I love photographing newborns, their little feet and hands and occasionally capturing their little wind smiles that are cherished by family and friends. I prefer to photograph newborns at the earliest possible age normally around 10 days old. Sessions can take up to two hours, allowing time for feeding, prop changes and getting the little stars back to sleep. Sessions can take place at your home as I am a fully mobile service. Some of my recent work.
